Highland Park x scotch whisky x Blue Water Cafe + Raw Bar.
A group of food professionals and writers gathered to sample Highland Park’s various special single malt blends of aged scotches from their two hundred year old distillery paired with a menu of whisky inspired seafood dishes.
It’s all meat here with ground chorizo, al pastor (pork), pescado (fish), tinga de pollo (chicken), de lengua (beef tongue), and de cachete (beef cheeks) filling these delicious taco treats, splashed with various hot sauces and jalapeño peppers. Simply delicious.
Northern Chinese cuisine x Sen Bistro.
I can comfortably say eating at Sen Bistro was interesting and fun, but I’m not entirely convinced of it as a complete dining experience. Admittedly, I’m not a big fan of Asian fusion stylings or too much mishmash. However, I mostly enjoyed all the different dishes individually and the variety offered.
